Invitation to register as a charity runner for the "Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Charity Project 2026"

The Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Charity Project is an annual sporting event with the largest number of participants. By promoting a healthy lifestyle, it encourages citizens to engage in beneficial physical and mental exercise. The marathon, which requires both perseverance and endurance, embodies the spirit of overcoming difficulties, persevering, and never giving up.
There's a common social perception that those who need help are weak. However, knowing how to seek help and accept support promptly is a sign of courage and determination. Sandi Hospice is honored to have been awarded a spot in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Charity Project 2026 to raise funds. We believe that a healthy lifestyle is a choice, and we hope that through marathons, caregivers and bereaved individuals can release their inner emotions, adjust their lifestyle, and face challenges with a positive attitude.

Hospice Care has invited the Cancer Information Network Charity Foundation to become its partner to expand its outreach. We sincerely invite entertainers, sports enthusiasts, cancer patients, caregivers, and bereaved individuals to sign up as charity runners for the "Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon Charity Project 2026" on Sunday, January 18th, 2021. If you enjoy running and believe in the principle of "understanding is the best support," we welcome you to participate in the marathon, half-marathon, and 10km races, creating a unique life education experience. Funds raised from this marathon will support Hospice Care's professional bereavement counseling and grief support services for families of terminally ill patients and bereaved individuals, helping them overcome emotional distress and find meaning and purpose in life.

Hospice will work with the Cancer Information Network Charity Foundation to promote the Zama Charity Project. By integrating the resources and audiences of both parties, this will not only highlight the harmony and solidarity between the charities, but also create synergistic effects, allowing the public to better understand the needs of patients, caregivers and the bereaved, and provide appropriate help and care.
